Konica Minolta established a technique to predict mist generation amount in inkjet jetting. The technique enables to monitor the jetting condition in more detail than before by analyzing the image data obtained using a DropWatcher and calculating the flight distance of each droplet based on the droplet deceleration model. It contributes to improving the quality of inkjet technology.

The automatic rupture determination algorithm of this product eliminates the conventional determination dependent on individuals’ skills and provides a mechanism that enables any user to conduct rupture inspections. This paper also introduces an example in which the automatic rupture determination function was used as a web application.
